Because all of our resources are committed to working on a new Saints Row game. Any kind of port or remaster is outsourced by our publisher to other studios while we focus on creating new content.

I know it's your job and it's great seeing community communication but I have to make an assumption. You HAVE to get tired of telling folks this. Obviously, newer people will follow ya and ask, not knowing. But it has to be tiresome. Good on you.
