@DSVolition so question in SR1 the character gets into a coma correct as a male so SR2 how come a female remember it and it wasnt a female character in SR1 any explain?馃槀

Because we simply wanted to offer players the option to play whatever gender they wanted in the sequel. Not everything has to have some minutiae canon explanation or lore behind it, but if it makes you feel better consider it a retcon.

You don't even need to consider it a retcon. Could easily just assume any reconstruction type surgeries they did after the explosion did it. I mean, they talk about how you've healed nicely at the start. Plus the ongoing joke about how you look different.
