One does not preclude the other. @DSVolition is working on a new Saints Row game. The remaster was outsourced to Sperasoft.

We create new content, and are not involved with ports or remasters of our games. In the case of Saints Row: The Third remaster, the work is solely being done by Sperasoft.

It's neither a remake nor a remaster. We are patching Saints Row 2 PC to fix issues with the game.
