A seemingly simple question often has a very complex answer. Basically, game development is a matter of trade offs. You can't just cram in everything you want, or a game would never come out on time. Often you have to prioritize a feature that gives the most bang for the buck.

We think so? It's a bit convoluted with the original bankruptcy auction and it getting sold off, but then much later Koch Media who owns Deep Silver (our publisher) getting bought by Nordic Games (now rebranded THQ Nordic,) who we believe may have the rights? Whew.
We aren't involved with the remaster, which is being done by Sperasoft. It's our understanding that there are only visual enhancements and no new features/gameplay.
