youtube arc because they broke axol's pen and tried making a bunch of new characters fit into the main cast, then when they realized after the arc they couldn't do that, all the characters were rarely used again. not good writing imo.

i think you're kind of right on that, went ahead and changed the title. always scared to do that, but i want to experiment so might as well do it on a video that isn't performing well y'know

but yea here are better stats and comparisons. browse features had higher ctr and people looking for it in youtube search were probably not looking for a video like this which led to lower retention and lower ctr it just happened to be shown to them in search.

this video did really well in browse features, which is good because that's the part of youtube i was targeting. unfortunately, this means it isn't doing well in search (because it didn't have mario kart black in the title) but the title and thumbnail led to a higher ctr

video chapters can significantly increase people watching past the intro. if i didn't use video chapters in this video in particular, it's likely that i would have gone below 50% of people watching after this point. especially if you have longer intros, it's very helpful.
Kind of disappointed that my KO mode video isn't doing well, but I'm actually really surprised my Mario Kart Black video did and I'm really happy it did because that means I can upload more of that distro^^
Also tip for audience retention: use video chapters lmao they help a lot
