People that don't blame themselves for doing the Geno route, missed the entire point of the Geno route lol
What Undertale hot takes will get you into THIS silly scenario?

Geno isn't a result of "Chara" or anyone else. Geno route is triggered because of your own curiosity of "what if I abuse the game's mechanics?" The entire point of the Sans battle is that it's too hard so you feel obligated to give up and Reset. It's great narrative storytelling

The whole “Chara being evil” thing was a little poetic in my eyes. People thought they were above consequences.

I have seen people in r/undertale and yellow say that frisk/clover/chara are doing a route on their own will, like bro did they not play the game? We are controlling em but sometimes they move on their own

I think Toby Fox is genius at exposing the mindset of players, they want the games they play to bend to their will and geno is an example of how awful that mindset is, but some players still deflect their blame because they feel entitled, it's a part of how he deconstructs gaming

people love to pretend undertale isn't a full on META-narrative just as much as it is a traditional one
