Coordinates NEED to be accessible outside of the F3 menu I do NOT need to see my graphics card info when I just wanna find my way back home 😭

they don't want you using java. that's why they added bedrock to the launcher. someday, they're gonna kill it off

They actually did! But just on the Legacy edition (for consoles before bedrock) Maps used to show XYZ coordinates but it was pretty uncomfortable iirc because it used a whole inventory slot.

I think it's because Mojang related too much on moded to do their job like Quality of Life, Performance etc In moded the first think you install is a minimal mod

The compass and map serve to provide similar functions. imo, they should just show the coordinates on the map like the console ports used to.

Some performance modpacks, like Fabulously Optimised, include it as an option in the settings, along with your fps

I think they should either make maps tell you your coordinates like in Bedrock or make it so compasses tell you your coordinates

Bedrock works that way because it didn't have the F3 menu in the first place

Jeb also thinks the popularity of using F3 sucks, that was only ever supposed to be for debugging but now every other YouTuber uses it for the equivalent of X-raying for bases
