I think what bedrock does as it being a setting just to see your cords on screen is good. Or if it would to be based in actual game play when you click with a compass/map in your hand the cords can pop up like item names when you swap spaces but up longer.

Compass should just indicate your coordonate when you hold them. Probably the most logical way of doing it.

Trully they wouldn't do something like that imo, they implemented a lodestone for that exact purpose

It's in bedrock or you can install the better F3 menu mod where you can customise exactly what info you want shown

Console versions have it shown on maps. PC needs to add this 🙏
