I would like to say that Toby started himself he made the characters androgynous so that people could more easily relate to the character because then you could use your preferred pronouns

i dno, they're meant to parallel us a lot of the time, and relatability makes for a more involved story for the audience

please don't use pronouns for fictional characters. THEY don't really exist, and THEY probably wouldn't have pronouns
