This is fucking stupid. The characters LITERALLY SAY THIS in the game. I’ve never seen anyone refer to Kris in the game as a male or female. It’s always “they, their, them, etc.” That’s the whole point of the Undertale and Deltarune protagonists. Their genders are ambiguous.

It still astounds me that people don't understand how pronouns work. It was in our elementary school workbooks. We had homework on this.
