If I was not allowed to be a woman as a minor, I don't know where I would be today. Ever since I've been true to my true self, I've been way happier than I've ever would have been if I was expressing myself as someone I wasn't. Kids can't afford to wait until they're 18.

On top of things, it is very rare for children to even obtain surgery before they're 18. At most, kids before puberty will just get a pronoun/name change and/or puberty blockers. Then begin HRT in their teenage years. I've seen so much misinformation about this, it's baffling.

"But children can't consent until they're 18!" This isn't a sexual thing and using that claim sexualizes our entire community. This is not a sexual thing. We just want to live our lives happily. We aren't harming anyone so I don't understand why you can't let us be happy.

I had to wait. I still have to wait. Im 21 and the only reason I loved this long so far is a very low tolerance to physical pain. However... I think it's only fair what's going on right now. We should all have to go through such pain as I have as a spiritual family.

I’m 18 and I’m still in queue for hrt here in Sweden :c have one year left before I can get into the place that can evaluate me and then 3 months of all that shit to get hrt ;w; it’s exhausting and I feel like it’s getting too late (I know it is never too late) but yeah..

And besides this - shoutouts to all the fellow fighters forced to wait until 18 (or even longer). I wish everyone understood how it actually works, how much pain they are causing and how much of their beliefs are nothing but a political campaign. Seriously thanks
