I have a question for people more experienced with Wii modding If I were to install a Japanese WAD file on my US Wii, do I risk bricking my system?

nononono the wii is NOT region free, you need to region free it first before installing a japanese wad file. you can do that with priiloader iirc.

I thought it wasn't region-free but I had no clue what would happen I think that does that, I'll try installing it I have no clue how to install WAD files anyway, I would use Dolphin but my PC has no Bluetooth
