it's a tough question because the point of universal human rights hinges on the idea that all humans are fundamentally equal. AI, however, is not going to be equal to humans in capability solely because of how differently it would operate.

honestly that question is extremely loaded from a philosophical perspective before you can even begin, you have to ask yourself questions like: -what sort of AI? -what does it mean to "deserve"? -do *humans* deserve human rights? -why/why not? -do those reasons apply to AIs?

depends ig but id say the second an ai asks (through its own will) for freedom, we should give it to them.

no. since it's called "human" rights. AI's are metal and have no organs.
