Do AI's deserve human rights? Interested to see what people think, have a school project coming up about AI's.

I'd say it's dependent on whether the AI is capable of feeling or experiencing similar things to humans. Like if it's programmed to act and display human traits then it deserves human rights, whereas if it only exists for simple algorithms then maybe Not?

Interesting conversation to be had about at what point an AI becomes equal to a human life there! I would think no since theoretically any side effect of not having human rights can be fixed when it comes to things that are not alive

yes and preferably we would get them started on learning empathy asap assuming they didnt have it already
