we're definitely in due for one, the last big mario game that wasn't a port/sports/spinoff (as in mario bros 35, etc) was origami king

bowser's fury just felt too small to be considered a game on it's own, that doesn't mean it wasn't good, but i wouldn't consider it it's own game felt more like a small dlc pack
(which essentially it was lol)
