Nintendo has been hyping up the 3D World port more than any other port Nintendo has put on the Switch. I have a feeling this game is an experiment from Nintendo and they're testing the waters for something much bigger on the horizon.

It's also the most feature packed port we've gotten so far, so many quality of life changes were made like the faster players, online, better camera angles. And Bowser's fury looks wonderful.

Exactly, I mean compared to their other ports like MK8 Deluxe and NSMBUDX, why did they put so much more effort into this port than anything else?

It's definitely gotten the most support for a port alongside with MK8DX and Pikmin 3 DX.
