I somehow randomly ended up in creative mode while playing Hypixel. IDK how or why it happened. @HypixelNetwork you might wanna look into this.

My client was only using Optifine which I don't think has the ability to change the gamemode. No other modifications were present.

if you glitch your client and join 2 servers at once on the same client then if you are set to creative mode on the other server then it will set you as creative client side not server side, not sure if you did that but it's the only way i know it could have happened
