Is that right? I thought it was a stylistic choice to not have any spoken dialogue as a challenge to express more of the silent comedy. After all, actions do speak louder than words sometimes.

in the LATAM dub, they actually added voice to Spongebob in this single scene and I always found it hilarious him just saying "YOU!" and subtitled on top (the subtitle wasn't changed from the og btw) like it was somehow so jarring its funny
