God I'm so tired of having comments saying that I don't sound like a girl therefore I am not a girl. Makes me just want to go and do hours of voice training to get a good stereotypical girl voice going that's ""believable"" so I can stop receiving them.

I mean I must admit I can do a pretty good stereotypical girl voice, but the problem is making it consistent and ""believable"" and make it look like I'm, ""not trying"".

I'm a voice actress, I've been voice acting since I was like 5 years old in private matters. I've been learning the stereotypical girl voice for months now and I think I've gotten pretty good at it, but its too anxiety inducing to actually do anything with it and continue.

honestly that's bs, there's many (cis) girls with deep voices yet it's always an argument when it comes to trans femmes :(

Right?? I had cis girls in my classes at school before with deep voices, there shouldn't be an argument about just because I'm trans.

don’t listen to them, of course as a trans person you’ll always get that, but if they think that voice dictates gender then they’re very stupid. you can be a girl if you damn please and it doesn’t matter what your voice sounds like!

This is so stupid, as cis girls with deep voices also exist, but I guess some people use whatever they come up with to be transphobic
