Just to tell y'all... we don't care about the graphics in MKW. It seems to be a common misconception about the community or whatever, but graphics literally do not matter. Yes they're bad, but the gameplay of MKW is phenomenal that it doesn't matter.

Sometimes I wish some games did focus more on gameplay than graphics *coughs in Mario Kart 8*, honestly would make those kinds of games a lot more enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, its possible to have good gameplay and graphics, but I've just never cared about graphics before.

I love MKW's graphics, I had no idea this was a problem some people were faced with

Some people don't like the shiny effect they put over the game. They often compare it to Double Dash considering they both run very similarly and Double Dash didn't have the effect. So they immediately jump on the Double Dash train and say it looks better.

I think the graphics look really good, most new custom tracks look 10x better than nintendo tracks. But the Nintendo tracks still look really good.

Theres something charming about wii graphics, even if they might be a little dated by todays standards

MKW's graphics are just as iconic as the Mario 64 and MK 64 graphics imo

Completely honest, graphics made no difference to me. I play both and I enjoy them almost equally. Gameplay is the only thing that truly matters when it comes to quality of a video game.
