A funny thing about YouTube is that for subscriptions, your most watched channel will always be at the top and will lower based on other channels. This also accounts for the frequency that channel uploads. When there is a new upload, a blue dot will appear next to your channel.

This is why it is very important to remain consistent. Even if you posts videos and your subscribers constantly watch your videos, after every day not uploading, you sink further and further down your subscriber's sub list.

Sub lists only list a couple channels that you've most watched. So people won't often click on "show more". If your subs don't have notifications on by chance, they can easily see a blue dot next to your channel for a new upload. But if you're down on the list, they won't see it.

Of course this screenshot is a bad example because I barely watch YouTube anymore so my sub list is based off of one or two videos lol, but I hope the person reading this understands what I mean.

Last time I was able to check, I was subbed to nearly 3000 channels. I stopped using my sub box long ago. People I care about, I remember. I see the sub as a show of support for a person, kind of a like button for a whole channel.
