What if nintendo one day decides to system update the wii and fix all known loopholes that the homebrew community uses. I have a feeling community backlash would be fuckin fierce.

They'll be tons of blacklash, but since we know the Wii in and out at this point a new exploit would probably be found within hours of when the update rolled out.

They did that with psvita fw ver. 3.72 and 3.73. They came out. And literally the next day it was broken open again with the same hack for 3.70, just altered. Little bit. And the hack was also like way faster.
