i want to start an account for just close friends because if i ask people to dm me on here because i'm lonely, i'm going to get dm's from a bunch of strangers and i really don't feel like conversating with people i don't know

yea, but that's for venting, and its private so asking people to follow that through dm's and not tweets feels really weird and an invasion of personal space

fwiw, I just got 5 random guys hitting on me in DMs (ignored them as I always do) and then your comment from yesterday popped up in my feed. twitter is so weird! But the timing made me laugh & thought you might appreciate it too!
