Just searched through the Mushroom Peaks textures and I found some pretty interesting stuff. Most likely left over from Mushroom Gorge. Underground Mushroom and Walls textures Textures for a Goomba Plain white texture (along with blank transparent png textures) Pretty cool.

yea they prob took the level straight from mushroom gorge and added their own stuff

For the modeling, no, they used Microsoft Paint for that. The textures were likely all imported at once. Although I can't seem to figure out why there is a plain white texture and several blank png textures.

actually when i looked in a kmo editor i could see mushroom gorge's model still there, i guess its invisible or something idk
