this is the most out of place thing on twitter and activates my anxiety and i hate it so much omg please make it go away 🥺

seriously you don't need this. there is already a messages button on the left side 99% of the time. you don't need it on the right side too.

It’s a nice feature to able to have a little message Window open while browsing Twitter why is it such a big deal

because it stands out and feels entirely out of place. like it was forced to be there. it would of been nice to have it as a button in the top left corner or something, but having an entire bar taking up most of the bottom right corner feels entirely wrong.

The entire point of it is to be able to have messages up and be able to engage in a conversation while browsing without constantly switching tabs The website is designed to be functional rather than aesthetically appealing

everything else on the website is fine and i've never had a problem with anything else. however, this bar just takes up the bottom right side of the screen making it so you have to scroll down to see what is being blocked by it. it drives me crazy. its like its staring at me.

all you really need is this button right here. you don't need an entire bar just to bring up the messages screen. it can function the exact same way, except it wouldn't look as out of place.

it's literally 48 pixels high on a 1080p display and blocks nothing most of the time (from what i've seen with it), literally 4% of the height of the entire screen i really don't see why this is such a big deal

and if it is blocking something on a lower res screen just zoom out, twitter looks better like that anyway
