i still feel like its too early for everyone to judge the game before they play it. i feel like battling in this game would be more targetted towards people who like puzzles and there seems to be no punishment for battling either. so why avoid battles? have fun with the battles.

maybe try it out and see how the battle system works. exp makes the player feel forced to battle, but they want to progress through the story at the same time. i admit, i love battling, but many people, especially kids, don't understand exp and could find the game...

not enjoyable because they avoided battles. this is why sticker star appeals to me. it had an idea to not force battles onto the player, but at the same time it wasn't executed right.

if you want to do battles, sure, go ahead. there isn't a punishment for doing them and there isn't a punishment for NOT doing battles either. play the game how YOU want to play it. you don't like constant battling? don't battle. you like constant battling? battle.
