had a dream last night where my mom finally called me june and accepted me. i cried onto her shoulder when she did. then i woke up crying and now i have come to the major realization that i'll probably never be accepted and i'll never be the girl i want to be.

Acceptance starts with oneself. I know, it's not easy; I've plenty of experience.

If your family can't accept who you are, perhaps you don't have to accept them for who they are, either

What is your definition of family Cause based on the replies I clearly see one A group of people who know you , who love and accept you as a girl Sure it's not your biological family But a family none the less In a sense you already have a family that accepts you

June, I don’t know you, but I can say with confidence that you are accepted by me and many others and you are completely valid! You are a girl, and if your family is too ignorant to see that then that’s on them. We are here for you. If you need someone to talk to, I’m all ears!
