fun fact about mario kart wii. the game actually loads staff ghosts not just when loading the single player menu, but it also loads the staff ghosts when loading the online menu. as proven by the images below. this is most likely due to the unused "ghost race" button.

nah there were ghost races originally planned for the online menu (worldwides and regional button locations). whats funny is that the mario kart channel doesn't load staff ghosts.
