so my discord nitro ran out and i still have an emote that isn't made by discord in my status. let it be known, that i will never change this status.

I think you have a 3 day grace period to renew nitro and then that goes away if your don’t renew it. Not sure though

no, when my bf's nitro ran out his status went away instantly.
