Welp, safe to say I'm never updating my YouTube app. I was considering it because my app hasn't been updated since December of last year or something.
So YouTube rolled out a mobile update that makes it so the only way to close the overlay is to hit that little X in the bottom right instead of just tapping anywhere like before and this is REALLY the most YouTube thing they could have done
