It doesn't tell you when you unlock playing against real people, but you can tell based on the changes of usernames. (Bots are human names and people are actual usernames) and the change in skill too. The bots are on the easiest difficulty.
Yes they lie to you about playing online until you play online for a couple of matches and then they pair you up against real people. The bots even use emotes and everything to make you think that you're actually online.
Every sport outside of bowling is basically unplayable. In Tennis for example the ball wasn't even in the right location half of the time and the delay between opponents hitting the ball was so extreme you just can't even react to it. It's garbage as expected :3
First time I went online on Switch Sports I was like, "wow the online works really well", then I realized that every person in the room was a bot when I finally unlocked the ability to play against real people.
I'm also not sure if it's just me, but there seems to be a delay from the time I move the Joycon to the time it registers in game. Which makes it hard on games where you have to have more accurate timing.
Played around half of all the sports in Switch Sports so far. I feel like Bowling feels the worst. I guess because I'm comparing it to the original, but the physics don't feel as smooth and open as the one on the Wii. (idk like it's more scripted?)
Drove myself to Gamestop, went inside by myself, talk to the employee, bought Switch Sports with my own money from my own card.
If this isn't character development, idk what is.
Nintendo consoles always have had their brand name in front of it. Like the "Nintendo Gamecube" for instance. However, they never based the marketing on the console as the "Nintendo Gamecube". But is in fact, the "Nintendo Gamecube".
Probably because the console was heavily marketed as the "Nintendo Switch" rather than just "The Switch" like how the Wii was. I guess they would like to stay consistent with the brand, but still "Nintendo Switch Sports" is a long name.
i have been editing for two days straight on a video talking about a show with a bunch of marios that have been recolored and a watermelon that turned into a girl
my life is at it's peak
Because these websites are purposefully designed algorithmically to get someone addicted for monetary gain. Not caring about the repercussions of the userbase on the platform and how they're always at each other's throats. It's all about money and addiction.
tbh with Elon buying twitter it makes me hope that this website will die so i can be free from the mental torment this hellhole has given me over the years and how it still haunts me mentally to this day.
idk how hot of a take that is but this website has caused me infinite pain
