Likes and other things also are factors in this, but percentage viewed seems to be the most calculated stat in terms of getting your short shown to people. It's much more busted than average view duration that's for sure
Also CTR makes up like 1% of getting your short shown :3

Shorts only calculate one thing the most, retention percentage viewed.
Shorts have an automatic loop feature.
The shorter your short is, the more it can loop, the higher percentage viewed. Thus resulting in more views :3

I'm sure if my desperation is strong enough I'll find a way to get it changed in the system. I wish it was as easy as just telling my teachers to call me June, but my Google account and every other website we use all has my deadname on it. I see it everyday regardless ;~;

I wish that I could just be June in school without constantly being my referred to as my deadname. I mean yea like every teacher is calling me June, but I don't even wanna see my deadname anymore. It hurts every time 😢
