I got my money back! PayPal did absolutely nothing, my bank ended up giving it back. They're the real heroes here.
Amazing how easy that was when my bank got in contact. PayPal still thinks I don't deserve my money back lmao
Hopefully no more account hacks for awhile (please)

they think that i made the payment of 200 dollars, despite there being significant proof my account was hacked. especially when my bank literally contacts them directly asking for my money back.

The 200 dollars that were STOLEN from my account were used for a SEX STORE. Looking at my purchase history, why the hell would I buy something from a SEX STORE. Absolute garbage service.
Luckily through this my parents are also trashing their PayPal accounts. You should too.

I managed to get in contact with PayPal customer support, they said to take it up with my bank, which I did. My bank filed a dispute and my bank KNOWS it was an unauthorized transaction. PayPal STILL THINKS IT'S AUTHORIZED

idk about the first point i haven't seen anything on it, but the second point was disproven. there were legit comments in the comment section before it was publicized that basically admitted to it being false and their plans to make people believe it :33

I made a purchase on PayPal two days ago and PayPal successfully emailed me about the payment and receipt. However, they neglected to tell me about the payment that the hacker who stole my money made. So they got away with the stealing for 2 weeks until I found out. Disgraceful.
The only reason that I found out about it being hacked was because I was checking my balance on whether or not my funds were transferred to my banking account yet. In fact, I didn't even use PayPal to find out my account was hacked, it was just in my payment listing in my bank.

When my Email account was compromised, Google told me the account was hacked the MOMENT it had happened. That's how I knew it was hacked in the first place.
I lost my 200 dollars 2 weeks ago because PayPal sent me no notification whatsoever about the payment or the hacking.

This is extremely disappointing PayPal. I use your service to keep my money secure and so I know my money can be used safely. Your security system is horrible, especially if you detect me as unusual activity by trying to solve the unusual activity THAT YOU DIDN'T DETECT.
