Not really. While yes it's important to remain consistent, there are YouTubers like Summoning Salt, MrBeast, and Dream that all post until their video is ready to publish. It isn't really important as many people make it out to be. Unless ofc, you wanna hold yourself to it.

For example, people may click off if you have a small section of your video that's just you not talking at all and providing uninteresting entertainment. This means that in editing next time around, to cut out stuff that is uninteresting to your audience.
How you should interpret this, means that you should go to the section of the video where people click off (YouTube tells you), watch that part, and then in your next video don't include that section or something similar to that section.
