Deepslate still generates in the 1.16 generation in the latest snapshot. I found most deepslate under and near lava by Y = 3 - Y = 0

They could have delayed this update much more if they wanted. I'm very happy it's still coming out this year and gives me something to look forward to.
By the 1.32 update in like 15 years y'all would forget about this delay anyway sooo

This is a very good decision. Unless you all want another 1.15 update. Remember how buggy 1.13 and 1.14 were? There was legit server lag in Singleplayer :3
Rushed games tend to not be as good as the games that take longer development times. It'll be worth the wait.
