No... MrBeast has done nothing to do with the build up of his success. He 100% used the algorithm to gain millions of views and subscribers.
Typically my videos CTR is extremely high and my Audience Retention is extremely low. I can prove it by my current watch time results based off my videos. Recent video's watch time is much higher than videos with high CTR. Kinda strange, but I'm amused by it.

I'm honestly amazed at my recent video stats. Like, on one hand the CTR is extremely low, but the Audience Retention rate is so extremely high thanks to Dream's methods of YouTube. I don't understand why my CTR is down tho because I've been following the same formula as usual :3

I've had like 4 videos recorded so far for my second channel, that I just couldn't upload because they were either too good for that channel so I uploaded on my main, or they were so bad that they don't deserve to see the light of day.

It seems that when people blow up so quick and come out of nowhere they get more hate than people who've been around for awhile and took a long time for their success to unfold.
