its sidetracking me from the stuff i need to get done
so this is the idea i have for the stick shift gamemode. you have to press a button (once) to continue going at full speed. eventually, if you don't press the button your kart slows down. once you slow down entirely, you blow up. if you rapidly press the button, you blow up.

after staring at this for 5 minutes, i think i figured out how it works. that, or i might be crazy.
