It was a great pleasure joining the Expedition 69 @Space_Station crew for a mini-reunion in the UAE. @Astro_Alneyadi, @astro_hazzaa, and @MBRSpaceCentre, thank you for your warm hospitality. Looking forward to your continued accomplishments in space.
We revived a lot of memories during Expedition 69 crew's visit to the UAE this week. Sergey, Stephen, Woody, Dmitri, Andrey, and Frank, it was a pleasure to introduce you to my country, our culture, & enthusiasm of our youth for space. You are always welcome to visit the UAE. 🇦🇪

This was such a fun and engaging discussion with @michaelgervais just a couple months before my launch to @Space_Station youtube.com/watch?v=kHUsik…

Changes in latitude, changes in attitude. @SpaceX's Dragon Endeavour delighted many as it streaked across Florida skies just after midnight ET on Sept. 4. #Crew6 is all smiles back on Earth following splashdown off the coast of Jacksonville. go.nasa.gov/3Z0Ppb6

Another tradition and a very special moment for me…My dear Turtle classmates Frank Rubio and @Astro_Woody presented me with my gold astronaut pin the other night! Kostya and I were welcomed to the club of flown astronauts by the rest of the Expedition 69 crew. It has been fun to share the excitement (and clumsiness) of being a first-time space flyer with Kostya!

It has been an honor and the thrill of a lifetime to serve on this mission. @Space_Station is a treasure. I’m going to miss this place.
Four station crewmates are scheduled to depart the station aboard the @SpaceX Dragon Endeavour no earlier than 7:05am ET on Sunday with live @NASA TV coverage beginning at 5am. nasa.gov/press-release/cover…

#Crew6 is heading home soon, wrapping up a six-month scientific mission filled with @ISS_Research to keep humans healthy—in space and back on Earth. See snapshots of @Astro_Woody and the rest of the Crew-6 astronauts doing science on the @Space_Station: go.nasa.gov/3OOOR3l

We do a number of exercises involving arms on ARED - bench press, tricep press, upright row, bicep curls, bent-over row.

I’ve been trying to be better about stretching - I think I’m overall a bit less flexible than when I left Earth, but hoping it will come back quickly. Can still go deep on squats.

I was planning to make this video, but @Astro_Alneyadi does it better. For the nerds - in the usual linearized stability analysis for rotation about the intermediate principal axis I2, you’ll see terms involving (I3-I2)(I2-I1). When I3 almost equals I2, as is the case here, the (I3-I2) term becomes small, and the instability grows much slower than usual, leading to this dramatic flipping behavior.
I can't get enough of watching the intermediate axis theorem in action.
